3. Make Your Selections
This is where your vision starts taking shape. Choose the finishes, fixtures, colors, flooring, cabinetry, and other details that bring your style into your home.
4. Let's Build
Once the plans and the selections are finalized, construction begins. We'll guide you through the process and keep you informed as your home comes together.
5. Final Walkthrough
Before move-in, we'll walk through your completed home together and make sure everything is ready for you.
6. Welcome Home
The plans become reality, the keys become yours, and your new home is ready for its next chapter!

Building custom gives you the opportunity to make decisions about the home before it's built - from the floor plan and functionality to the finishes and details that make it feel like yours.
We'll help guide those decisions so you aren't navigating the process alone.

1. Do I need to already own land to build a custom home?
No! Quartz Creek has available homesites within our community that are ready for your custom home. We can help you explore the available homesites and find one that fits your vision.
2. Can I choose my homesite?
Yes. Available homesites can be selected for custom builds, giving you the opportunity to consider location and lot characteristics as you begin planning your home. Contact us to learn which homesites are currently available.
3. What if I already own land?
Already have property you're considering building on? Let's talk. While our current focus is building within the Quartz Creek community, we're happy to learn more about your property and what you have in mind.
4. Can I bring my own floor plan?
Have a floor plan you love or ideas you've been collecting? Bring them with you! We'll discuss your vision and determine how we can turn those ideas into a home that works for you.
5. How much can I customize my own home?
That's the fun of building custom! Depending on your home and plans, you'll have opportunities to make selections throughout the design process - from layouts and finishes to colors, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, and other details. We'll guide you through your options along the way.
6. How long does it take to build a custom home?
Every custom home is different. The timeline can vary based on the home's design, size, selections, permitting, weather (we are in Oklahoma after all), material availability, and other factors. Once we know more about the home you'd like to build, we can give you a better idea of what to expect.
7. When do I make my design selections?
Selections are made throughout the planning and building process. We'll walk you through what needs to be chosen and when, so you know what's coming and have time to make decisions you're excited about.
8. Can I make changes once construction has started?
Some changes may be possible depending on where we are in the construction process. Because changes can affect the cost and the construction timeline, we encourage making as many decisions as possible before construction begins. If something comes up, we'll talk through what's possible.
