Buyers Agent Contracts and Car Purchasing...

With all the new Laws and regulations in Realestate, I thought I would remind you of something that is rather important and very impactful to your pocket book...

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN A BUYERS AGENT CONTRACT TO TOUR OUR HOMES, PURCHASE A HOME FORM US, OR FOR US TO BUILD YOUR CUSTOM HOME.

You absolutely can and should purchase a new construction home directly through the home builder, ANY home builder. Why? Because it saves you money! Ask yourself a couple of questions: Did I find the homebuilders available homes or addition?, or did the agent find the homebuilder? Did I find the home listed on Zillow, a listing that is independent of a listing agent (meaning the home builder listed it themselves)? Did I drive out during one of the builder's open houses? Did I speak to either the builder or a salesperson representing Quartz Creek? If you answered yes, and you did... Why then are you paying a realtor 3+% of your hard-earned money? Is it for them to fill out an offer form for you, and then show up to closing to pick up a check and snap a picture with you holding that giant key? NEW Home Buyers, come on!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

TO be clear on this subject, Quartz Creek Homes will always work with Realtors. We have one Realtor in particular that has sold over 6 houses for us and not all of them were listed. We do occasionally list our Market/Parade homes. This is rare for us, as we only build a few Market homes per year.

90% of the homes that we build are Custom Built Homes.

We will work with your Buyers agent, but understand that thier commission will be on top of and seperate from our price of the home. YOU choose to have a buyers agent, legally you signed a contract for them to represent YOU. They DO NOT represent us and legally we are not required to compensate them, you however are.

Here's something to think about before you sign a buyer's agent contract: Have you ever signed a contract with someone to help you find a car? Or do you usually just research a bit and go straight to the dealership to make your purchase? Just some food for thought...

Happy House Hunting!
